Ann Hamilton is a designer and maker of wedding gowns whose studio is located in the old Meat Market district at the western edge of Greenwich Village. She specializes in vintage, vintage-restoration, alteration and redesign. Bridal gown alterations are also available.
Personal Profile and MediaAnn studied fashion design at the Parsons School of Design in New York City. She worked for several years in costume design for the theater, and has worked in bridal design and heirloom gown restoration and restyling since1990. Her work has been highlighted in a number of newspaper and magazine articles both in New York (see below) and in Ireland, and for the past several years has been included in New York Magazine's special wedding issue.
